An equitable distribution of employment opportunities gives all citizens a fair opportunity to become successful. A situation where people are employed based on favoritism, religious/tribal affiliation or other partial basis, will hoard jobs from the right people and people who are less qualified and inefficient will be put in charge of certain positions. When employment opportunities are evenly distributed in such a way that every qualified candidate stand an equal chance of employment, unemployment is reduced and wealth distributed evenly.
