Qiran is not source of shari'ah. The qiran or beam of light belonging to Allah is to make us better Muslims and in that attempt He chooses to throw that qiran to all those who have faith.

The primary sources of Islamic law are the Holy Book (The Quran), The Sunnah (the traditions or known practices of the Prophet Muhammad ), Ijma' (Consensus), and Qiyas (Analogy)
